Miss Rodeo K-State 2010
Courtney Hall
COURTNEY HALL is the 2010 Miss Rodeo K-State. A native of Leavenworth, Courtney is a member of the K-State Rodeo Club and grew up around horses.
As a youngster, she participated in 4-H, played soccer, and was a cheerleader. The 21 year old cowgirl will be a senior at KSU this fall. Her major is feed science and management, and after college, she will attend graduate school to obtain a master’s degree in ruminant nutrition. Courtney grew up wanting to be a barrel racer but had no avenue to achieve that goal. So she changed her dreams to being a rodeo queen. The K-State pageant was her first contest, and she’s pleased to represent the school.
“I want to promote rodeo and the school,” she said. She will be at the Kaw Valley Rodeo in Manhattan and Junction City’s rodeo, among others this summer.
Courtney has a younger brother, Hawkins, who is 19. She is the daughter of Robert and Sandy Hall. |
