Kendra Smith

Reigning as Miss Rodeo K-State 2007 is Kendra Smith, daughter of Richard and
Brenda Smith of Lyndon, Kansas. She recently has completed her second year at
K-State where she is majoring in psychology and the equine certificate program.
Once she has completed her schooling at K-State she plans to help people overcome
their mental ailments with the aid of horses. Growing up on a dairy farm she
was a member of Franklin County 4-H, for thirteen years, where she avidly participated
in the dairy and dog projects. She is currently a certified 4-H dog judge.
The Miss Rodeo
K-State is the first title Kendra has ever held, as well as, being the first
pageant Kendra has participated in. In the pageant she received winning scores
in all of the five categories: horsemanship, written test, modeling, interview
and speech. She is very honored to be representing the K-State rodeo club and
team. Also, it is an honor to be representing and promoting rodeo as a whole
and western heritage. She wishes all the participants good luck and “Happy
Trails!” and to all of the fans, rodeo wouldn’t be as great without
you! |
