Growing up in Hiawatha, KS Meagan has had horses since she was nine years old and been involved in barrel racing in years past. Miss Rodeo K-State is her first title. Meagan is a sophomore at Kansas State University, majoring in kinesiology (ki·ne·si·ol·o·gy), the study of exercise science. Currently she is training a seven year old black quarter horse mare to sell as a fun project this year. When she graduates from K-State she plans on going to occupational therapy school to become an occupational therapist and eventually open a Therapeutic Riding Facility. Duties as Miss Rodeo K-State include going to ten appearances during my reign as queen and representing K-State, and K-State’s Rodeo Club and Team in a positive fashion. In addition to this she will organize and run the pageant next year to pick the future Miss Rodeo K-State.
